Christopher's gift is not only as a talented musician but as an exceptional music educator. When schools closed due to the pandemic, the one teacher our daughter was most disappointed to not see was "Mr. Christopher." We decided to move to online lessons, which has created a great deal of flexibility for our family and has been a joy for our daughter (8 years old). Teacher Christopher has been working with my daughter for about 6 months in voice lessons. She loves his energy and kindness and looks forward to her weekly sessions. I appreciate Christopher's positive demeanor and the way he approaches teaching young music students. He is very patient and flexible and willing to allow children to explore their interests, musically. My daughter is all over the board with her song choice and he accommodates her while making each lesson meaningful and educational. We've enjoyed our experience with Teacher Christopher so much that my son also started taking lessons with him for piano. As with voice lessons, Christopher is skilled at working with children through music basics and beyond, while adapting lessons to the student as needed. My son was eager to have his own lessons after he heard the rave reviews from his sister! My grandchildren have had the privilege to work with Chris while he was an instructor at their elementary school. Two years ago one of them chose to take voice lessons and Chris was our first choice. I feel Chris is an excellent instructor always taking the time to ensure that my grandchild is getting the most out of each lesson. He is patient and encouraging.
